Two Revolution Infinity Ring
Sterling silver pendant, ethically sourced black diamond
Many believe that peace is the ultimate human instinct. The Peace Sign, as it is internationally known today, represents peace consciousness.
Infinite Peace is based on the symbol for peace that was designed by British artist Gerald Holtom. A conscientious objector during the Second World War, Holtom designed the symbol in 1958 as a logo for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and protestors wore it on ceramic buttons during the campaign’s first major march in England. To create the symbol, Holtom superimposed the flag semaphore letters for "N" and "D" over each other to represent nuclear disarmament.
My design incorporates the Peace Sign into an Infinity Ring, thus transforming it into a symbol representing Infinite Peace. Those who wear the symbol are making a statement of a deeply held belief to all who see it, “I stand for Peace.”
Like all of my Infinity Ring sculpture and jewelry designs, Infinite Peace evokes ancient Feng Shui principles. The never-ending circular nature of its Infinity Ring form promotes infinite peace, love, abundance, healing, and harmony.
